WORD / MYRKR CHAIR

Christopher Warren heads up the LA-based Warren Office for Research and Design (WORD), where he and his team push the bounds of architecture and industrial design with some very interesting and progressive projects.

One such project is the Myrkr Chair.  The chair is an exploration of beauty not just in the structure of shapes, but also in the shadows they create.

Here’s a closer look at the chair itself, which is made of plywood dipped in black aniline dye and finished with lacquer.
