Freeway, a start-up eyewear label, released its inaugural collection of sunglasses earlier this year.  Last week the label launched its online shop, just in time for the holidays.

Alex Israel, founder of Freeway, has captured the spirit of LA life beautifully in his line of sunglasses.  Each pair is named after an iconic Southern California freeway and reflects the style and substance of the neighborhoods that its namesake route intersects.

Our favorite is the 110.  It’s a traditional look that’s a perfect fit for the old craftsman communities of Pasadena and Highland Park that the 110 freeway winds through.

The 110 comes in both a glossy or matte finish, in white, gray, and black. Here is a closer look.
