COUCH GUITAR STRAPS / VINTAGE VOLKSWAGEN CAMERA STRAP

Couch Guitar Straps has been making guitar straps by hand since 1999.  Their straps are well made, durable, stylish, and pretty affordable.  The materials used to make the straps - like 30-year-old deadstock army green vinyl or recycled car seatbelts - are really cool and come from all over the place.

Couch uses pieces left over from guitar strap production to make camera straps, which usually means their camera straps come in very limited editions.  One camera strap that really caught our eye is the Vintage Volkswagen.  This strap is made using vintage 40-year-old upholstery that was intended to reupholster 70s Volkswagen Beetles.  It makes for a very interesting strap.  Here are a few more photos for a closer look.
