If you don’t wear leather, but are in the market for a leather-looking jacket, then Carapace’s Basic Bomber is worth a peek.  Carapace is a basic menswear label whose designs carry a simple and sophisticated look.

Carapace’s Basic Bomber shell is made from polyurethane and finished in a pebble texture which makes it a pretty convincing substitute for the real thing.  Snap flap pockets and a snap tab collar add great detailing to finish off the look.  Here are a few more photos of the jacket.
