OETZI3300 /TROOP LEATHER
There is something very natural and primitive about the OeTZI3300 Troop Boot. It looks and feels like a modern interpretation of what a prehistoric hunter would wear to stay fast and nimble. And that’s exactly the point.
OeTZI’s name actually comes from Ötzi the Iceman, the 5,300 year old (that’s 3300 BC!) primitive mummy found in the Italian Alps in 1991. The mummy not only inspired OeTZI’s name, but the company’s approach to designing shoes that are basic, flexible, and comfortable.
Like OeTZI’s entire collection, the Troop Boot has an internal sock membrane with a water resistant coating to keep the feet dry. The boot also includes a cork footbed that gradually conforms to the shape of the wearer’s foot, creating a comfortable and lasting fit. We prefer the mocha, but the boot also comes in black. Here’s a closer look.
