RAEN OPTICS / UNDERWOOD

We recently ran across a pair of shades from RAEN Optics that we just had to write about.  RAEN is based in Encinitas, a great little surf town just south of LA.  The independent eyewear label has consistently been producing impressive collections since it was launched in 2008.

The Underwood is part of three new frames RAEN released late last year.  It’s a classically inspired pair of wire frames beneath an acetate structure and bridge.  Simple and subtle, these frames won’t ever go out of style.

The Underwood comes in a few different finishes - black, froth, brown, and tortoise.  The frames are also available for prescription glasses.  Here are a few more photos.
