FURTHER / HAND SOAP
We’re not the type to spend time thinking about what soap to use when washing our hands, but when we ran across this product, it was too cool to pass up.
Husband and wife team Megan and Marshall Dostall use glycerin derived from biofuel to make soap. They pick up used vegetable oil from restaurants, which they process into biofuel in their garage.
Their seriously-green business is starting to pick up steam. They recently partnered with uber-chef Mario Batali, using waste grease from his LA restaurant Mozza to make their soap.
Visit Further’s website to learn how Megan and Marshall’s idea got off the ground.
